The Explorers Club
The Explorers Club is a child-led immersive experience where the majority of our time is spent outdoors following the interests of the children in all types of weather! Children spend time exploring the 37-acre property observing and learning how to identify and care for the living things around us, using basic tools, as well as mastering practical, social and collaborative skills.
School Year Program
Mondays and Wednesdays 9-3:30
ages Kindergarten-5th grade
$40/day (sign up for one or both days)
The school year Explorers Club will spends our time following the interests of the children, exploring the 37-acre property observing seasonal changes, learning how to identify and care for the living things around us, using basic tools, as well as mastering practical, social and collaborative skills. There will be some time spent in our schoolroom each session so children can bring their homeschool work with them! Supplemental instruction can be provided if requested by families.
Note: The homestead's 3 dogs will keep us company in the woods.
Summer Camp
Monday-Friday 9-4
ages Kindergarten-5th grade
$200/week (sign up for one or all weeks)
Children in the Explorers Club summer program spend their days exploring the 37-acre property: hiking in the woods, exploring the creek, observing the fish in the pond, caring for and harvesting from the garden beds, getting to know the chickens, and learning to identify the plants and animals in our Southern Indiana temperate biome as well as mastering practical, social and collaborative skills.
Note: The homestead's 3 dogs will keep us company in the woods.
